About Me

A 27-year-old man who alternates between traveling and odd jobs. I've done a fair bit of woofing, both in France and a bit in Ireland, and I'm a fan of the backpacking and hitchhiking travel style. I'm planning to stay in Avignon for a while, so why not share my accommodation with other travelers around the world?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Advocate a world of sharing different from the current individualistic society. On the contrary, I think that it is through meetings and sharing that we make the best use of the time we have been given in this world, so take advantage of it and help people when we have the opportunity! In addition, from my few uses of couchsurfing as a traveler, I have only had positive experiences, so it is a fair return of things to put myself in the shoes of the host now!

Interests

If we are on this site it is because we have all experienced things that are out of the ordinary :) for my part I like to tell my first experience of backpacking-hitchhiking.

18 years old, the bac in pocket, the thirst for adventure intoxicating our hearts, we left with two friends to conquer Europe, with only weapons: our backpacks, our thumbs and of course our will!

Our journey began in Avignon, to end in the Austrian capital: Vienna. 3 weeks of backpacking, passing through Switzerland and Germany, sleeping outside, in parks in the city or in the countryside, taking torrents of rain every other day, hitchhiking in 3 and believing in it! (And we did well!) and of course making a thousand and one enriching encounters, in itself discovering the world outside of our social conditioning!

This trip was the first in a long series, but always on this principle: take your backpack, leave yourself no time constraints, have no plan (the most important :)) and let yourself be carried by the ka, destiny or even mektoub as Mr. Coelho would say.
