Hi there! I am Jonathan, 20yrs old from The Netherlands. After I graduated from my MultiMedia Design study, I took a gap year and traveled through southeast Asia for 5 months. After that, I decided I wanted to learn a new language, so I went to Madrid for 3 months to build a solid base. Now, one year later, I started a new bachelor's degree study, and am planning on working in Barcelona this summer to improve my Spanish. If it is possible, I want to repeat this custom every coming year to learn more about the spanish culture and language.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When you live in unknown cultures and countries for a relatively short time, it can be hard to make lasting contacts. Couchsurfing is a great way to meet amazing people and really helps me embrace the local life as much as possible.
