Well..... salut tous les mondes. I've joined the couchsurfing world after a few years of travelling across Europe relying on the kind and amazing generosity of stangers and fellow globe trotters for places to stay. I haven't used Couchsurfing that much but have mainly volunteered on sites such as Workaway staying with people for a week or 3 months, enjoying immersing myself in their culture and way of life. Couchsurfing is pretty similar just without the volunteer work...

I see myself as a friendly, motivated, well-educated, and travelled guy who loves to meet new people from all the far flung corners of the world. After university i decided to engage myself in full-time travel. It is a serious dedication which doesn't mean travelling like a tourist but living in an area for several months working or volunteering. At the moment i am working high up in the French alps 50kms south east of Grenoble working as host/concierge/handyman for a couple of luxury Chalets. It is, in fact, one of the best jobs i've had. Inviting people into the chalets, serving them drinks and then telling them stories and information about the area is such a chilled role. Especially as most of the poeple that stay with us love the same activities and sports; hiking, mountain biking, climbing, camping, rafting, canyoning etc.... The list goes on; on top of the mountains there is always a unlimited supply of things to do and there seems to be a fete or party somewhere, everyday in one of the many pretty villages.

So yea, im quite a sporty active guy who likes a long hike or decent downhill bike slope. And i also love to chill with a beer or two with decent people.
If you like any of these activities, or just want to explore a very naturally beautiful part of the world then come and stay. I work 6 days a week but i finish most days at 3 so i will have plenty of time to show you around, go for a hike, climb, or hit up a bar somewhere.
