We currently live in Damar, KS, but will be moving to the Lawrence/Topeka area soon. I will welcome guests with references, but please note that I do have a large dog. He is quite friendly, but doesn't know his own strength.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Between the two of us, our musical tastes run the gamut. Lots of indy, electronic, folk, prog rock, classical. Depends on the moodm

Movies: Anything with depth and a good twist.

Books: Wilderness in the American Mind, inspirational writings by Muir, Thoreau, Emerson, and Whitman. 1984 and Brave New World are right up there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Waded into the Colorado River 5,000' beneath the rim of the Grand Canyon. Drank beer in the highest saloon in the US. Saw a sunrise and sunset from opposite coastlines in the same day.

Good stories, good food, good drink, hot showers, warm bed, and local sightseeing.
