About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to find a sofa to sleep on....or have someone sleep on our sofa.......that is my Couchsurfing Mission...I didn't choose this life; it chose me...

ABOUT ME

A graduate of The Citadel, I enjoy living the dream. Feel free to ask me anything. 'Johnny Tsunami' is one of my favorite movies and I enjoy bowling and corn mazes. Sometimes, when I am feeling like quite the rascal, I put the red flag on mailboxes in the up position...with no mail in the box.

PHILOSOPHY

"Go big or go home." - Urchin's Motto, Johnny "Tsunami" Kapahala

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I play in orchestras around town and I am a bagpiper for the local police pipe band. I also pay my parking tickets on time [gotta' respect local laws].

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have slept on many people's sofas.....so I guess I am a beast in that regard.

Interests

Music, especially playing musical instruments....also, doing anything...I am always down to clown.

Music, Movies, and Books

All the Harry Potter movies...and Jumanji....and Johnny Tsunami. Seriously, that move is capital. I don't read since movies will be made about the books, but I did read Holes all the way through. There was a movie made about it a year later, though, so it was not worth reading. If Johnny Tsunami was a book, I would read it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have had the pleasure of meeting Chuck Norris and living to tell the tale. If you do not trust me, I have pictures as proof. Also, I play bagpipes for Bill Murry whenever he needs it. Sadly, he does not need it often. Finally, I almost pulled a prank where I replace the sugar in a jar with salt. I did not do it, but I almost did. It would have been weak.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my violin and bagpipe skills. I can also share my talents in living the dream and gelling. Also, I once built an IKEA sofa all by myself, so I can share that talent as long as it is the Solsta Sofa Bed. In fact, that is where all couchsurfers get to crash....a hand made IKEA Solsta sofa-bed. It's clutch.
