Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't done much couchsurfing recently. However, a few years ago, just before starting university, I went travelling around the world for nine months and got introduced to couchsurfing. I'm really grateful to have discovered this network, because it's really allowed me to experience places much more locally than if I had been staying in hostels.

Interests

I am studying graphic design, so I'm very interested in anything related to art and design. I love to draw, and have been doing it since I was two years old. I also like to do photography every once in a while. Apart from that, I love to travel, but not all-inclusive resort type of travelling. I like to stay for longer periods of time in different places, get to really know my surroundings, and make meaningful connections with people. I like to be outdoors, hiking, canoeing, snowshoeing, etc. I am very active, and like to go for long walks as well as running. I LOVE to eat, but unfortunately, I am very allergic to peanuts (like I can die), so I have to be careful about the things that I eat (I'm not so big on the whole dying thing).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've jumped between two continents within seconds. I've seen moon rise from the horizon. I was a chicken for almost a whole day.

I love to learn about other people, exchange stories, and perpectives on life. I also love to learn recipes from different places in the world. I am happy to cook a meal for you too! :)
