Music: Prefer turntable type of music, like Scratch perverts or Dj Yoda. But will listen to just about anying with a good voice and some rythem, such as bluegrass, raegatton, dancehall, blues...
Books: Read too many non-fiction books, mostly about history, development, economics, science, environment...

Lived on the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua for two years in a unique, strange, difficult, and amazing town.
Spent some time living the Alaskan life which I recommend to everyone.
