Before I was doing a voluntary service in Gongcheng and Guanyin (a small village) in Guangxi Province, China.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to host very much, and would welcome couch requests. The area is a little remote, but very beautiful and genuine.
In Gongcheng I live in a dormitory in the vocational school. In Guanyin, we have a small apartment.(before 2015)
Now I live in a student house in Zurich, Switzerland. Here is allowed to serve guests sometimes. (2017-now)
I want to meet new people and experience new culture. I think when I travel somewhere, Couchsurfing can be a better alternative than live in a hotel especially after I have some experience in Counchsurfing. For example, when I first time came to Switzerland, I lived in a local's home, we are still friends now.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only had a few couchsurfing experiences so far. I have heard a lot about it from my room mate Nicholas [Nicholas Rajewsky von Pawel Rammingen] though.

I like Lost in Translation, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Inception and A beautiful mind. I like many movies by Woody Allen such as Scoop or Whatever works. I also enjoy the The Lord of the Rings movies.

My favourite books include Moneyball (Michael Lewis) , Papillon (Henry Charriere) and The Poisonwood Bible (Barbara Kinsolver).
I like crime stories, for instance by Edgar Wallace and Scandinavian authors.
In German literature I like "The robbers" by Schiller and "The pains of young Werther" by Goethe.

I currently read The Idiot by Dostoyevsky.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Definitely being here in China. I really enjoy teaching.
Studying in a good university in Zürich.
The Great Pyramids were amazing. It is incredible how people could build something that magnificent thousands of years ago.
