Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Settle in my new home, build new friendships and solidify old ones but most of all to have fun doing it!
ABOUT ME
I grew up a wild (some might say feral!) child in the countryside in Ireland. School and then to uni to do engineering ( it got difficult so I left ) and then to the otherside of the globe to fly tin-cans.
Amazingly someone gave me a job and I'm afraid that I've chased my job ( and my tail ) through 15 addresses and lived in 5 countries in the past 5 years. In London now and settled down a little recently ( I know "boooorrringg" i hear you shout!).
Love to meet new and different people. I can claim to excel at nothing but sit firmly in the "will improve with practice" in most categories. In other words I claim to know a little about everything :) I live old pubs, I play guitar and football occasionally as well.
PHILOSOPHY
Experience new places and things but most of all people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment I'm spending most of my spare time still exploring London. Great city with loads to see. I also get to spend a quite few days a month in far flung European cities. As a relative beginner to all this I'd love to maybe meetup for coffee( or tea! ) and take my couch-surfing from there.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was introduced to couch surfing by my friend Alan who lives in France. I recently visited him and his flatmates and spent a week on the sofa. I had the privilege of overlapping some people who had surfed there the previous weekend. We had a fantastic time. More laughs than can be counted and made friends we could have never encountered in other enviroments.

Guitar, music, occasional gym/sports, travel, technology, drinking, to name a few basics. Then minor interests in no particular order ,astronomy, cycling, dancing, horse riding, science, cars, golf, movies, history, philosophy lite!, mechanics, outdoors, comedy.

Teach, Learn, Share
People who are keen to chat discuss debate but not argue, try new stuff and maintain a hint of madness and unpredictability! On a slightly more real note. I'd like to ski better, and understand other peoples jobs better.
