Unfortunately I am not able to host at the moment, since I moved to a new flat which is mostly missing furniture, curtains, lights etc.! I hope to be back hosting in October.

I am a British expat, I lived in London for a few years after finishing university before escaping to Berlin in 2014. I live in northern Berlin, just outside the Ringbahn, and I work here for a very large German engineering company.

I would like to think I am a pretty open minded and tolerant person.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have travelled a lot throughout Europe using youth hostels for accommodation and I love meeting other travelers. Through this I also heard from people who had good experiences with Couchhsurfing.

I think Couchsurfing is a great way for travellers to meet locals and have a good time together.

兴趣

I enjoy watching films and finding out about the latest releases, though independent drama films are more my thing than superhero Hollywood blockbusters! I have a great home cinema in my apartment but I also enjoy going to the cinema on a regular basis. Berlin has a great selection of cinemas from multiplexes to quirky arthouse places to outdoor cinemas in summer so I'm spoilt for choice here.

I love playing and watching Volleyball - I often go to watch matches in the German National League. I like to go running and swimming too.

When I have a spare weekend I like to explore places around Berlin or further afield, and take some pictures while I'm at it. I also like wild swimming, so I can show you some nice lakes to swim in near Berlin - there's a lot to choose from!

I work as a software engineer, so although I mostly try to spend my spare time away from computers am I interested in technology, and also in industrial heritage.
