Hello there!

I'm Jonathan - or Jona, for short. I love meeting new people, especially while travelling. I joined Couchsurfing in 2018, because I was going to travel to my roots in Indonesia, and on my journey, I wanted to meet many locals.

Since then I have also joined the weekly Rotterdam Couchsurfing meeting and I help organize CSinterklaas. Those events fall now under the more broaden Hospitality and Travel Rotterdam group, and I still host the weekly meeting, monthly meeting and more events.

I enjoy watching movies en TV Shows. I like hanging out with friends and have a drink. Craft beer, whiskey or a glass of red wine. No, not all at once.

I work in a supermarket as a cashier and supervisor. And I also do some administrational tasks. And I'm mostly responsible for the liquor store at the supermarket.

I'm living with my dad at the moment. We are not really able to host anyone. But if you are writing to me in advance I can always ask my parents if they’re OK with it.

The best song ever has to be Bon Jovi's It's My Life. For the best movie, I'd go with The Green Mile, just because it made me cry.
And I don't read that much, but the best book, well, I have a Dutch book called "20.000 Citaten" (20.000 Quotes).
