ABOUT ME

I have a very active and engaging personality, and love being around people and getting involved. I am passionate and energetic, and love living in the moment and spending quality time with my friends.

PHILOSOPHY

This can be best described by three separate quotes, which I heard from two of my sisters:
"Don't try and find out what the world needs, find out what makes you come alive. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive."

"An opportunity is never wasted. If you don't take it, someone else will."

"My purpose can be whatever I want it to be, and is defined by the choices I make each day; it is not a destiny set in stone, nor is it thrust on me by a higher being."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't host people in my current living situation, however I love meeting new people, networking, and showing people around my city!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have only had one official couch surfing experience, and it was a wonderful stay in Caen, France. I got to experience the city, go out and visit some of the amazing tourist locations close by, and have some wonderful conversations with my hosts.

兴趣

I love to travel, see new things and meet new people. I really enjoy being outside and being active - rock climbing, hiking, or just walking around a city or countryside. I've played sports all my life, and love Ultimate Frisbee, volleyball and football (soccer). I am also an avid reader and coffee drinker, enjoy all types of board and card games, and love listening to music and being exposed to new artists.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Seoul, SK - I spent a month living there with my sister, and it was an incredible time of self-exploration and immersion in a completely different culture.

Study Abroad - I spent January to May 2012 living in Chambery, France and traveling around to different surrounding countries and regions. It was an amazing 5 months filled with growth in my knowledge of French and francophone culture and the ability to meet a great number of people from different backgrounds, countries, and lifestyles.
