兴趣

I enjoy nature and the simple pleasures in life. I like to sit and chat with friends and wine by the fire on nice nights, kayaking and camping, the warmth of the sun and feel of the rain. I walk to the Mellow Mushroom, eat too much pizza, drink too much beer and listen to music. I enjoy drawing, painting, sculpting and music. I also like checking out the night sky through my telescope or showing off my home built Tesla coil. I love learning about the amazing world around me.

Hmmmm. I like all kinds of music really, but lately I have really liked Tame Impala, Royksopp, MGMT, and Star Fucker. I also like older stuff like Pink Floyd and The Beatles…I like music that spurs my imagination. The list could go on forever.
When it comes to movies, I tend to like horror, fantasy, comedy and Sci-Fi. I think my ultimate "man movie" is Predator. It is a perfect blend of overly muscular, macho, gun toting guys and a bad-ass alien who kills motherfuckers at will! Oh, and there's no love scene! HaHa! I admit that I really don’t care for Chick-Flicks, but some are kinda funny, and I do have a soft spot for romance. I also watch a ton of documentaries.
One of my favorite books is The Way of the Peaceful Warrior. It really helped start me down a path of self discovery. I tend to collect how-to books, textbooks, historical and mythological/occult books. I do enjoy some fiction though. I like Shell Silverstein and Dan Brown. Jeannie is a big Steven King fan. She has even more books than I.

I got I pilot’s license when I was 17. I 'll never forget how beautiful and free it was to fly. There are several other things... which for several reasons I won't mention.

I do my best to know myself, even if it means facing some disillusioning truths. We are brought up to believe that one day we will "become" something else and that's when "real life" begins and happiness starts. I've known this is a deception for a long time, but deep down I still believed this lie. I am just now finally realizing just how false this is. The other day I randomly decided to write down all of the things I truly enjoy, all of the things I value most and all the things I want to be. I was shocked to find that I already had all these things!
