I'm an adventurous and fun person who is always open to exploring new things. I'm obviously on here because I love to travel and meet new people. I moved away from New Zealand when I was 18, to come and work in the UK for two years. I've been worked as a teacher assistant and as a bartender whilst also making some great connections in Manchester. I have also tried to explore surrounding Europe, and taken excursions to cities when I get the chance.
I love to talk and go for drinks. I always think about food and love the creativity people from different cultures put into it. I like exploring places mainly on foot, and I like sitting outdoors. One of my favourite things to do is make my way up to a nice viewpoint of city/landscape and take in the view, sounds and atmosphere. Foreign languages and accents always interest me too.

I've stayed with couch surfing hosts in Dubai, Luzern, Tallinn and London.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is an excellent way for me to see the inside of other cultures. It's also a fantastic way for me to approach new people and learn from them. I always feel humble by the hospitality I've received and hope to repay the favour for a future day ahead.

Interests

Travelling!
Architecture: I like looking at historical buildings and going into cathedrals. I also enjoy seeing new innovative engineering too, like the high risers of Dubai or impressive bridges. etc.
Geography: I like looking at maps and navigating my way around places. I usually remember the city someone is from, more than their name. Haha.
I also enjoy going on walks/hikes, flying, nightlife, movies, video games, cooking and helping others out.

Music, Movies, and Books

Fantasy movies are great, such as The Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter etc. I also like watching historic films, thrillers and action.
I listen to all sorts of music, but mainly from modern pop trends, to house.
I liked books by Anne Rice in particular, but I really should read more!

I ran on the original Olympic track in Olympia, Greece.
Getting lost in the backstreets of Venice.
Nearly fallen off the Cliffs of Moher, Ireland.
