CURRENT MISSION

My mission is probobly the same as most on this list. To meet other people from all walks of life. I'm not prejudiced against anyone. Well, maybe nasty people aren't my favorite.

ABOUT ME

I'm fairly easy to get along with. I'm mellow. I like watching movies, listening to music, taking people on tours of the city and am up for just about anything.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is like a sewer. What you get out of it depends on what you put into it. Or, I'm a bleeding heart liberal. I just think kindness begets kindness.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This will be new to me in some ways. I've hosted many friends and family, including Rusties (Neil Young Fans) when they come in for Rustfest. I'm kind of a wuss when I travel so I usually bring my own mattress, sleeping bag, pillow, etc.

Music, music, music. I'm mainly into Americana. I play piano, but not well and usually too loud. I'm a great listener and can sing some harmony.

I like movies that make sense. I tend toward little films or Foreign films. I like some Blockbusters and I can take the occasional violent movie as long as it's fun violence. (Think "The Terminator" or "Die Hard"). I like Americana music. I'm not into Rap or Opera. I either like or can tolerate most other types.

My life has been amazing. I've traveled the States fairly extensively. I've only been to Holland, Germany, Belgium, Mexico and Canada. I'm going to Scandinavia in the late Spring. I've met a lot of famous people and sell merchandise for some relatively famous bands, Richie Furay (Buffalo Springfield/Poco/Souther/Hillman/Furay Band), Jim Messina (Loggins & Messina, Poco), Chris Hillman (Byrds, Souther/Hillman/Furay Band, Hillman/Pedersen Band), Poco and a ton of bands you've never heard of, but should. Venice, I See Hawks In LA, The Cowlicks, Eddy Bush, Tim Moyer and many others.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

As a Piano Technician, it would be tough to teach that to someone in a short period. I can't think of anything I could really help teach. Maybe improving one's English. I'm not much of a cook unfortunately, but i will help you cook and help with supplies. We're pretty well stocked on things like herbs, spices, ketchup, mustard, etc.
