About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To stay still while continuing to move. I spent my early and mid-twenties aimlessly wandering the planet but have recently moved to Pittsburgh and am thoroughly enjoying growing some roots. With that being said, I will never be content staying stagnant and am constantly planning my next adventure; so far this new chapter in my life is hitting all the right notes!
ABOUT ME
It's my life goal to to see and experience as much as possible, to meet as many interesting people as possible, and to be as happy as possible.
PHILOSOPHY
My favorite quote comes from On The Road, by Jack Kerouac-- "What is the feeling when you're driving away from people, and they recede on the plain till you see their specks dispersing? -it's the too huge world vaulting us, and it's good-bye. But we lean forward to the next crazy venture beneath the skies."
I've been saying less goodbyes these days, but there has been no shortage of adventures!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My roommates and I host surfers when we can, unfortunately, with 4 people in the house our schedules don't allow us to host as much as we'd like!
Interests
I love reading! I really enjoy playing volleyball as well, but don't find enough time for it. The same goes for movies. And for writing. I am determined to write more though.

Music, Movies, and Books
I follow the Walking Dead and Game of Thrones, both are so entertaining. I think that Planet Earth might be the best TV show ever made. And I look forward to Shark Week every year. As for books, my favorites include: Call of the Wild and On the Road! Favorite music: The Black Keys top my list, but I love anything that's got a good grove.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's impossible to choose just one thing so I choose two. I think that the Gibbon Experience in Northern Laos was one of the most amazing things I've ever done. You spend 3 days hiking and zipling through the jungle, and at night you sleep in a tree house. It was such an adventure!I also had an amazing time in Siem Reap, visiting Angkor Wat and befriending the locals. My friend and I even got to attend a wedding party out in a small village and see what real Cambodian life is all about.
