ABOUT ME

i must be honest. i hate this profiling crap. i mean, how can i type into a computer the kind of person i am and am capable of being. i guess i am just to much of a romantic for this type of explanation.

PHILOSOPHY

blahblahblah.....this is information to share with someone over some coffee or hash. haha! sorry to be difficult, but i want something to discuss in a personal meeting.
i can say this, my feelings and thoughts are forever changing. everything evolves,,from bacteria to sexuality to our thoughts and ideas.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i have crashed at houses in athens, greece and tarsus, turkey. it is great to be able to stay with locals, break bread with them. i also find it enjoyable hosting others. i love to cook for people and teach them how wonderful oakland is,,even though it is the 3rd most dangerous city in the states.

Interests

as a student, my interests are constantly developing and recreating themselves. i have always been interested in culture and music. now i am combining the two as an anthropology major. i used to play guitar and learned a bit of the trumpet, but now i like to be the dancer for the musician. i love african dance, particularly from the west side--also haitian, turkish. besides world music and dance, i have been trying out ballet and hip-hop.

i love russian literature, also isaac bashevis singer from poland. this writing is filled with integrity and heart. maya angleou, bukowsi, vonnegut, thoreau, f.douglas...i am trying to read things from all over the world to get a sense of a people's struggles and happinesses
