My name is Johannes, but most people call me Jonny. It is shorter and especially for the other nations easier to speek. I am 19 years and want to scout now after my school as much as I can. That's also why I did already a voluntary social year in germany.
At home I do many sport like soccer, tabletennis, mountainbiking or skiing. But sometimes if I need a break and calm down I sit on the piano.
After my living abroad I want to start studying industrial engineering.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Before I came to australia I already heard many good staff about couchsurfing. You really get to know the people abd the lifestyle in the country and you can save money by the way. But in the beginning of my travelling I just stayed in hostels. It was often much fun no matter, but it was not that for what I am here. I want to improve my english. I want to get know some australians. But in this time I met more germans than anyone else.
Together with a friend of me I did then in 1770 my first Couchsurfing experience. And it was just awesome. For me so far the best experience in australia. And that's why I'm here.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not really have a favourite music. I hear many different categories. From classical over rock and pop to metal. Stuff like Hip-hop and Rap I would exclude. But sometimes that's also fine.
My favorite movie I would say is "Lucky # Slevin" and "The Bourne" serie.
At the moment I really like the books from Ken Follett. The style of writing and the issues are just awesome.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think that is quite clear my Skydive. But also that I come here to australia to live here and leave my home, my family, my friends back in germany is also considerable.
