Overview
About Me
Tall, bald, warm, and welcoming :)
Couchsurfing connects me to the world and people by allowing me to practice the disciplines of giving, service, and hospitality.
At this point, sharing what I have has become second nature.
I enjoy cooking for (and with) my guests as I feel like I am giving of my true self when they eat what I make, and we enjoy it together.
Some family members press me to use my extra space to make money via Airbnb. No thanks. Charging for hospitality would rob it of its essential human connection--for me. I'm not nice, warm, and hospitable just to earn a few bucks off of travelers. I want something money can't buy--real human connection.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To practice the ancient human art of offering hospitality to travelers.
To break down artificial social/ethnic barriers by meeting people from around the world one-on-one.
