I have recently jumped off the corporate treadmill and I am am busy setting up a business of my own. I am therefore time-flexible and interested to host those who would like to see an insiders view of London, at the same time as sharing some of their own lives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a recent convert to the couchsurfing experience after hearing various tales of extraordinary generosity and kindness, not to mention fabulous conversation and experiences. I would love to have had this sort of opportunity when I travelled the world in my late-teens - so I now offer my couch to those who would like to come and experience the great city of London.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not yet had the opportunity to couchsurf myself but have hosted many travelers (and residents) during my time in Amsterdam and London over the last few years.

Interests

Currently on a good food, health and fitness regime. Has not always been the case! Things that otherwise make life worth living are reading, music, interesting conversations, cooking and a sprinkling of sunshine.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies and books, like people, that educate you and make you keen to learn more are what I seek out. That said, a good sci-fi/fantasy movie that can totally change your reality for a short while will always get my attention too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The thing that most amazes me (constantly) is the limitless capacity for generosity and sharing that people have - for me best illustrated in the high mountains of Nepal through the gift of food from local families.
