ABOUT ME

I'm an English student currently studying for a degree in Chinese and International Relations on exchange in Beijing from SOAS in London. I'm always up for new experiences, learning and meeting new people whilst most probably embarrassing myself somewhere along the way. I can normally be found with either a gin and tonic or a cup of coffee in my hand laughing to jokes I'm telling myself in my head.

I'm a huge fan of the idea behind couchsurfing, opening up your home to strangers and making new friends is what this is all about for me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My flat mate Marie and I have shared her account up until now and have hosted some great people whilst I've surfed in Sichuan earlier this year.

兴趣

I love food and am passionate about cooking, for me it's a way of being both creative and relaxing. I have a great interest in learning foreign languages and an odd fascination towards the Nordic countries. I like to spend my days listening to albums, reading or chatting with friends with a mug of black coffee. I'm also very into football and will be making regular trips to the stadium in Beijing to watch the Chinese league which is a great experience even if the football isn't so hot.

I've had the opportunity to live in three very different but all amazing cities: London, Beijing and Quito.

I'd be happy to teach you how to cook, or teach you some of the above mentioned languages. I'd be happy to share some of the music, cafes, bars and spaces round Beijing that I love.
