Always striving to keep my life and careers in creative arenas. Photography, videography and poetry are my passions. I was a massage therapist for close to a decade. I realized that spending time traveling and appreciating other cultures as much as possible was a needed part of my life so I started moving around some. I rode my bike from Portland to San Diego and began to see a different world of people just living their life and learning about each other. Some experiences made me want to settle down. Some made me want to stay on the road forever. I traveled some and ended up in Seattle for the past couple years. I've taken on portrait and music photography and I'm trying to go full time as a music photojournalist.

I realized recently though that I would be better putting efforts into meeting new people and learning each place I travel. Instead of spending money on hotels, I would rather buy dinner for some locals, or cook with new friends. If I just sometimes get a couch that's fine too. Any help in this journey of spreading empathy would be appreciated.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently, I have hardly participated. I'm going to start hosting this summer hopefully.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While none officially through the site, I have always been a nomadic hippy. Paying my way any way that I can and usually having great new experiences in the process. I met some people while camping and they offered me a couch when I was in their city(LA). While staying with them they encouraged me to set up a profile to aid in my travels. Also, I know several friends who use the site.

兴趣

I'm just into life yaknow. Science, music, friendship. I am into sports, but usually the less competitive ones. I'm more into personal challenge I guess. I've spent a lot of time in the gym and used to be a personal trainer. Hiking is a source of life and renewal and I will hike up mountains by myself or with friends.

After losing a few different loved ones, I realized my life and job were holding me back and I decided to create a brand or company with the sole purpose of creating empathy. Since then I've moved across the country without a job ahead of time. I've started a career as a photographer and now more and more journalism prospects are popping up.
