My name is Jonathan (but almost everyone I know calls me "Jono"). I'm really interested by all sorts of culture (film, music, art, literature...) and my secret dream is to be a prize-winning novelist. Although I generally act quite laid-back, I'm quite a restless spirit, and don't tend to stay in one place for too long - but after a couple of years living abroad and a summer of travelling I'm moving back to London in September, and plan to stay for a while...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first discovered Couchsurfing when I was traveling around Europe in 2009. I was trying to get from Munich to Vienna, and eventually got there via the ridesharing website Mitfahrgelegenheit. The people I mitfahr-ed with were so nice that they offered to host me in Vienna, and I had an amazing weekend with them. I decided that I wanted all my weekends to be like this, and that's when my host Cosima mentioned Couchsurfing... the rest is history. I have surfed all over Europe and hosted in London, Sheffield, Vienna and Amsterdam, met so many amazing people and had so many incredible experiences thanks to CS. Being a Couchsurfer has definitely been a life-changing experience for me.

Interessen

Pretty much everything interests me. Languages, travel, films, literature, music, art (http://jono4.deviantart.com), politics... and of course the mighty Spurs! (That is the football team Tottenham Hotspur. I love football, both playing and watching, even though I am the worst football player of all time by quite a long way.)
