About Me
CURRENT MISSION
It's hard to see my goal, because everything I pass looks so interesting.
ABOUT ME
I'm a positive, lively and curious man. For the moment, I live outside Tønsberg, Norway - the oldest city of Norway.
I don't bother about your sexuality, skin tone or religion - even though I love to discuss those subjects and open my own perspectives.
Hopefully, you like to think and talk about the smallest and greatest mysteries of life!
I believe life is short, and that it's never to late to do anything. I strive to live it as if there is no second to long, no moment to boring, that it can't be enjoyed.
I'd describe myself as: Empathic, thinking, loving and joyful.
I don't expect any special treatment, and I pay for my own food and stuff. But if you'd like to make dinner together or go to a concert, I'm not hard to convince ;)
PHILOSOPHY
An asshole is an asshole, whether she's black or white, gay or straight. We are all born equal, but we all have unique experiences. Together, we are like a gigantic paella where the different ingredients enriches eachother.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first couchsurfing was something special: In Reykjavik, with just a little money and overbooked hotels, I tried discover CS together with a friend. We got invited by a man who lived outside the city, and it was a revelation of the Icelandic hospitality and kindness. The man had a little daughter who where didn't think it was strange that I, an adult stranger, slept on the couch for two nights. After she went to bed and her mother came home, we sat down jamming and drinking some beers. It was so nice to see how this family incorporated CS with their everyday life, not separeting their family life from their CS life. Amazing!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love movies that let me explore, experience and judge myself, such as: Eternal Sunshine, Kids, The Involuntary, Elephant, Breaking the Waves, etc.
When I make my own films, I strive for truth and realism. But when watching/reading someone else's story, I can also enjoy magic realism and totally unrealistic setups. Such as Orwell's 1984, Good Bye Lenin, Matrix, V for Vendetta, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was on Iceland during the volcano eruption in 2010. We hired a car and drove to a valley, just 4 kilometers away from the Eyjafjallajökull. It was amazing to walk on a 10cm thick carpet of volcanic ashes, hearing the rumble from the other side of the hill, smelling the sulfur that hung in the air.
