ABOUT ME

I´m an outgoing girl from a small village in North of Finland. When I started to study English as a little girl, I had lots of penfriends all around the world. That gave me an opportunity to learn about different people from different cultures. The more I learned, the more curious I became! When I first travelled alone at the age of 17 I realized travelling is my thing and I´ve been missing abroad since. I was fortunated to meet Harri, my husband, who is keen on travelling as well. Now this is our hobby and we´re always thinking of travelling somewhere! While travelling, the best thing is if we meet some local people with whom to share the life!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Travelled around on holidays, met wonderful people and made special friends -and slept on their couches :D Signed up in CS as I read about it in a magazine and hosted a few guests so far. Attended to some CS events in Brussels. Surfed a few couches.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy psychological thrillers and some documents. I enjoy reading about spiritual growth and psychology. Paulo Coelho´s Alchemist has really inspired me! My taste in music is quite wide - it depends on my mood! Pop, rock, jazz, classical, almost everything goes!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved to Ireland without visiting the country before :)

Baking?? Baking used to be my hobby but now I need a good reason to bake -usually the good reason is to have some guests :)
I love to learn about different cultures and different ways of life.
