A little about me...

I was born in South Korea and moved to the US when I was 8 years old. I have resided within Southern California since then, and am now residing in the city of Los Angeles. I just recently graduated from UCLA with a bachelor of science degree in the field of Psychobiology.

I'm a genuinely caring person who wishes to share perspectives with you. My goal in life is to be truly happy, beyond the surface level. You could say that I'm on a search for happiness- as cliche as that sounds. I believe that the greatest teacher in life is experience, and that is what I'm setting out to gain.

I would love to meet and learn your way of life and your happiness and share with you mine in return. I am very sincere, genuine, and honestly interested in learning your way of life. I hope I can meet and share an unforgettable experience together.

After much research about backpacking, I have come to a conclusion that in order to truly get the most out of the experience and immerse myself in both the place and culture, Couchsurfing is the way to go. I really believe that to get the experience that I wish to gain from my travels, there is no better option than Couchsurfing.

I love to have genuine conversations! I love to eat- please do recommend me your favorites, I can't wait to try them! I also love to read books, watch movies, and spend time outdoors- I actually just returned from a week long camping trip as I write this! Oh, and being a recent college graduate, I also know how to have some fun, when its appropriate of course. But overall, I'm a very outgoing person and have many interests and am open to trying new things.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I like to listen to a lot of different music. Preferably, I enjoy listening to rock or acoustic music but I also very much enjoy R&B, rap, classical, and electronic music! Some artists I've been into lately are: Ed Sheeran, Jason Miraz, John Legend, The Killers, Eminem, Joe Hisaishi, Yiruma, Zedd, and others.

Movies! One of my biggest hobbies is watching movies! I love all genres of movies, except scary movies- I don't really understand the cinematic thrill of watching them. Some of my recent favorites include: The Grand Budapest Hotel, Big Hero 6, What we do in the Shadows, Interstellar, The Imitation Game, The Theory of Everything, Bridesmaids, North by Northwest!

I also enjoy the leisure of reading books when I have the time. Recently I've been into reading books about travels, the current read being a book titled, Vagabonding.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

One amazing thing I've done is volunteer as a summer camp counselor for a non-profit organization serving over 300 students from low- income families, aged 10-18, of the greater Los Angeles area for multiple years. The children that I have met have changed my life forever, and I like to believe that I have touched theirs as well.
