ABOUT ME

Me? A social and open minded person, also with a good sense of humor. I traveled a lot for a year and half and now I'm back in my hometown. In my freetime, I like to spend time with my friends or do some sport activities (especially outdoors). I like meeting new people (although I might not remember their names at first place :D ) and won't get tired on exploring what's there in this world, whether it's by wandering around streets/cities looking absent-minded or spontaneously trying something new when there's opportunity to do so

PHILOSOPHY

Keeping my mind open. Although I'm interested already in many different things, I'm always open to explore all kinds of new things and phenomenons there are on this planet.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been surfing during my travels and participated in meetings. Now I'm also able to start hosting too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heard about CouchSurfing in August 2010 from travellers I met in Montenegro. It sounded interesting and really worth of trying. I have been surfing for a couple of occasions during my travels and now I'll be able to host as well.

Main interests are Outdoor activities, such as trekking and cross-country skiing. Whenever possible, I'm also keen to do canoeing/kayaking, wall-climbing and downhill skiing. With my friends I like to do bowling and volleyball as well. Also I play some guitar and like history, politics, aviation and shibari. I've been also active member in several non-governmental organisations, including the student union of my university and the student association of my faculty, being a chairman for the latter for two years.

I like a different kinds of music, favorite genres being pop, rock and (modern) folk.

Movies: anything that has a proper plot, or, in case of a comedy, good humor.

And books, hmm, I read detective stories, historical novels etc. Whatever seems interesting.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

There are many. To mention some, I would say glacier hike in Franz Josef Glacier in NZ was amazing with the views and challenging conditions. Also bungy jump in Queenstown, NZ and rafting in Tara river, Montenegro are something you don't experience every day.

In terms of learning, I'm always open to learn new.

To teach and share, hmmm. Well, at least I can tell stories from Finnish weather to traveling or running a non-governmental organisation. :D
