I've always been more curious than afraid.
Unexpected experiences keep my life fresh and my thoughts vivid and new.
I have been fascinated with fibres, textile arts and plants for as long as I can recall. This has given me a desire to study natural dyes.
I'm going to continue studying and traveling the world and try to get the most out of life that I possibly can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By being me! Moving to Montreal very soon and will be hosting with my other CS flatmates. :)
Fantastic. I'm constantly amazed and full of gratitude for all these awesome people that are interested in being hosts. I love meeting other CSers & am looking forward to getting involved in local groups when I have a more permanent home.
Indigo & other natural dyes, linguistics, tree planting, hiking, vipassana, films, ethnobotany, reading, writing, drawing, getting lost without time constraints, letters, artwork.
Music, Movies, and Books
A bit of a bookworm but I'll condense. I like the House of Leaves, Jeff Noon, Francesca Lia Block, Philip K. Dick, William Burroughs, Anais Nin....
Classics, non fiction, memoirs, autobiographies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I experienced dia de San Lazarus in a locals home in a small Cuban community. I went to gnostic mass hosted by the Albuquerque OTO community. I've wandered through voodoo Mexican markets looking for shrunken heads. I have planted over 2000 trees in one day.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach how to stand on one's head as well as how to do a variety of textile related things...
