Hello everyone!

I am 25 years old, born and raised in Delft, the Netherlands. I've been backpacking in SE Asia in 2014 for eight months and had the time of my life. Now I finally got the chance again to pack my back and explore South America, solo this time.

I find it extremely interesting to meet and chat with people from different countries and cultures. I feel easily connected with different people and especially travelers. Friends describe me as a connector with great social abilities, a positive energy. Meetings with me usually end up with philosophizing discussions with room for a good laugh!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing came across during my Asia trip. I went to a couchsurfing meeting in Penang and got introduced by a friend to this interesting platform. In Asia I did not get the chance to use Couchsurfing.

Now I am travelling solo and super interested to meet new people and see the cities from a local perspective!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I discovered my spiritual self two years ago when I did a meditation retreat in Changmai, Thailand. In this retreat I stayed internally in a monastery with the monks for two days. They taught me a lot of ancient oriental wisdom and some more practical meditation skills. It was a weird experience because we weren't allowed to talk for two full days. Amazing experience!
