ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Joost and I'm a calm, easy-going, sensitive, widely curious, compassionate and open-minded 28 year old man. I can be quite talkative (depends lil' bit on the subject though), but I'm also a good listener. I'm said to be an unreformable optimist, but I see it differently: I always try to focus on the things I see as good and try to emphasize that aspect and not to give too much attention to things that do not deserve attention, I think that's different.

I like to philosophize on pretty much every subject from quantum mechanics to shopping, so to speak :)

I speak dutch and english (reasonably well) and a little bit French and German.

PHILOSOPHY

I think people are born to grow, indefinitely, by exploring themselves through exploring their surroundings with (self) love as their propulsion, catalyst and inspiration. People can only be guided by themselves. It is very very difficult, if not impossible for someone else to say anything about you and where you should go, this demands very objective insight, man can only reflect through their own reality. Best is to inspire people though by just focussing on yourself and your life and growth. Everything will fall into place from there on, for yourself and for everyone in your surroundings. But never work to get something, things are perfect the way they are, to be able to recognize the beauty in every moment is the art of life.

I'd like to learn a lot of things you have to offer, I'm widely curious and have many interests, but my biggest ambitions are nutrition, qi-gong and permaculture, so if you can teach me more about those subjects. And massages, I'd like to learn about different massage-styles like Shiatsu or Tui na, that'd be great! Or anything concerning health! Or about different cultures, or cooking.. I can think of a 1000 subjects, so you'll probably have something to offer me ;)
