About Me
Unfortunately, I can't host anyone for the foreseeable future. I can still maybe meet up with people in town for pizza or to walk, though. The more advance notice, the more likely I can hang out.
I graduated from Amherst College with a degree in Russian Studies in May 2017. I'm currently teaching English in Harbin, just going with the flow for now.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To travel by local perspective (hotels are for tourists, hostels sometimes feel fake and still for tourists - you get a better feel for a place staying with someone who lives there, you know?), to meet new people from all over the world - different countries, backgrounds, cultures - and to share stories
Interests
I did crew for 4 years in college and was a coxswain, I used to play chess and academic quizbowl competitively, and I played violin in orchestra for many a year. I also follow politics and world news closely.
- politics
- chess
- classical music
