I'm a student with an urge to travel, particularly after spending a month at an international summer science program in Israel. I want to see the world, ideally while I'm young. Aside from wanting to adventure, I really enjoy science, good coffees and cafes, and talking to people about essentially anything. I love listening to music and exploring cities.

I'm on couchsurfing because I think it is the best way to authentically experience a city, while also meeting someone that could hopefully become a friend. It makes the world smaller and more connected: I like the idea of being able to associate a city with a person I spent time in it with.

I love listening to folk music and alternative rock. Some favorites include the Head and the Heart, Passenger, the Avett Brothers, Iron & Wine, the Tallest Man on Earth, Gregory Alan Isakov, Sufjan Stevens, and Young the Giant.

I spent a month with kids from 17 different countries at an international summer science program in Israel. In addition to our scientific research, we go the opportunity to travel the country and befriend one another. To put it simply, I will never forget the experience. From hikes in the scorching hot desert to sleeping outside and seeing stars for the first time while foxes tried to steal our bags to visiting the bars and beaches of Tel Aviv, it is easily the most amazing experience I've had thus far.
