Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Curious to find similar openminded people, More assuredly than starting conversations at the bus/train stations, although I've had some success in the past. Usually I've gone the hostel route if I didn't know any friends in the area.. But sometimes hostels feel corporatized! I like to meet locals and learn about their perspective on life in the area and world beyond.
