I'm fairly laid back and very open-minded (read: interested as opposed to judgmental) so I can get along with most people, but I'm selective in friendship and devoutly loyal to the ones who get close.

PHILOSOPHY

I value maturity with a childlike sensibility. I don't think maturity comes automatically, nor that it means giving up everything you were and loved in youth. I think more often than not adults attempt to purge themselves of the virtues of youth; trust, sincerity, sensitivity, playfulness... while preserving what should be purged; selfishness, failure to be responsible for one's actions, temper tantrums, arrogance.

I'm continually awestruck by a night sky or ocean view. I was similarly effected when I leapt out of an airplane from 10,000 feet. My internal chords vibrate most strongly with the universe when I'm exploring it. Getting lost in the pre-light dawn of Tienen, Belgium. Waiting in 4am fog for the train. The architecture in Paris. The London pubs. Loch Ness. The Isle of Man. The clean streets of Munich. Redwood forests.
