ABOUT ME

I am a guitarist and have played in different bands and toured throughout the USA. I have finished my liberal arts math/science studies and hope to finish a chemical engineering program within the next few years. I love science but also music, art, food, travel, nature, health and holistic healing, vegetarianism, and philosophy, psychology, and metaphysics.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in working together for the greater good and CS reflects that philosophy. Travelling and meeting new people, having new experiences and seeing new places are all important aspects for anyone to learn and grow. I love to explore natural and created beauty of all areas of the globe.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am hoping to surf some couches on my trip to Europe, and will give back in the future as much as I can!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In highschool and for a few years after i had toured through most of the western half of the United States with a few different bands. I had many experiences sleeping on the couches of those that were kind enough to lend me them! It was much better than a van full of 12 people plus gear and merch.

I hope to have a great time on my backpacking trip through europe/egypt/thailand with my girlfriend, and maybe you can help me out!

I enjoy many styles of music from hard to soft, deathmetal, hardcore/punk, post rock, indie/folk, 60s/70s rock/classics, psychedelic, classical, jazz, but some specifics are mogwai, behemoth, refused, strife, converge, isis, pelican, mono, iron and wine, beatles, witchcraft, electric wizard, sleep, black sabbath, led zeppelin, radiohead.

Books range from a variety of topics from philosophy, ancient religions and societies, mythology, psychology, socio-political, health, paranormal events, cosmology, metaphysics. Some of my favorite fiction books are hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, lord of the rings, great expectations, sherlock holmes, and i love all manor of movies and tv/cartoons.

Travelling to the Grand Canyon is amazing; nothing can possibly compare to seeing it with your own eyes. Having an experience like this drives me to travel more and see as many places as i can in my life.
