About Me

CURRENT MISSION

do something pretty while i can

ABOUT ME

i am dedicating my life to exploring passion and creativity as i try to invent a bad ass lifestyle. i'm an artist, a storyteller, a compassionate listener, an ardent walker, and a competitive ultimate frisbee player.

PHILOSOPHY

to give and to receive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i believe deeply in the idea that the path to deeper growth is through communion and understanding. what i love about couchsurfing is that it offers instant intimacy: where else would someone drop everything to help a total stranger in need? as a CSer, i attend meet-ups, i promote shamelessly, i pass out gifts, and i'm even writing a book about my experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

during my 10 1/2 month walking pilgrimage from canada to mexico, i relied heavily on couchsurfers to sustain me and offer me a comfy place to rest my head. i've surfed with at least 30 or so hosts thus far, and i'm looking forward to returning the favour whenever it is that i acquire a couch again soon. or later.

Interests

love, adventure, photography, philosophy, great books, presence, deep thought, unintentional poetry, and ultimate frisbee.
