About Me

I'm permanently curious about everything, eager to explore, discover and find new places, people, cultures and food. I'm passionate about languages and I would like to continue learning new ones, as well as improving my English and French. I love talking to new people, learning from them, telling and listening to stories...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After having slept in a thousand different accomodations (monasteries, temples, cabins, treehouses, etc) I want to start experience Couchsurfing for the 1st time. I'm not only interested in sleeping at someone's place or providing accomodation: my main objective is to find other people that, like me, are interested in discovering new cultures, traveling and making the most of this life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love every kind of music but my favorite is soul, blues and rock from the 60's and 70's. My favorite artist is Nina Simone. I'm a bookworm who can't choose a favorite book among others. However, "100 años de Soledad" by Gabriel García Márquez occupies a special place in my heart.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swim in the ocean with bioluminescent plankton at midnight; trekk across mountains, temples and ricefields in Myanmar, do an Interrail across Europe, learn how to perform a tea ceremony in Japan...

Teach, Learn, Share

I have experience in teaching Spanish and English to kids and adults and French to kids
I love sharing experiences, learning different culture perspectives and sharing both my native Spanish culture and my adoptive ones (Belgian and Cambodian)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer my sense of humor and eagerness to talk and share. I'm a tireless listener and I can offer my passion and experience to help you organize your next trip! If you want a companion for cooking classes, food/wine tastings, going to the museum or to the nearest jazz concert, I'm your mate.
