From Nijmegen, a small city in the Netherlands, but spending most of my time in South-East Asia, especially n Malaysia and Indonesia, learning about the language, culture, and nature while diving the oceans.
At the moment running a small dive-resort together with my girlfriend on Derawan Island, a very remote little island off the East coast of Borneo, which has amazing diving and wildlife.

Back in Europe for a month to enjoy my hometown and some new places!

I met great people through Couchsurfing, some which I've become very good friends with, and with whom I'll always keep in touch.
For me, Couchsurfing has become the most exciting and important way of traveling !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Finished the complete fasting in Ramadhan year 2013.
Worked as an English teacher for 2 months in Jambi, Sumatra
Cycled around Lombok in 3 weeks.
Finished my 6 week Dive-master course and started working as a Dive Master.
Running a Dive-Resort in a very remote island in Indonesia.
