ABOUT ME
I grew up in the typical nuclear family in rural region of Québec (1 hour from Montréal). I'm a french canadian, 20 years old and finally getting ready for my first backpack travel in the old continent of Europe! Since I speak both French and English, I expect to be able to communicate easier and learn much about each other with the people I'll visit. I'm pretty chill :), atheist (no judgement for other religious belief) and hopefully I'll meet nice people who wants to share what their life looks like and show me their culture and country or town.
PHILOSOPHY
I beleive in individual rights and freedom for everyone. As I said earlier, I have no religious belief/no God and do not judge other for who they pray. In my opinion, being atheist makes that I beleive in my personnal strenght/power and do not rely on anything or anyone else to live my life. I would describe myself as a hedonist which means I'm looking for happiness and try to avoid unpleasure. My goal is to look back at my life and feel i would restart it anytime. I think that no matter which school of thought or religion you come from, I can learn something from you because each individual live unique experience. That's for what I'll be looking for while traveling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Actually, I am a traveler only and will be looking for couch! When I'll visit a couch, I love to prepare supper or any meal or even be useful by cleaning your appartment or something you've need to be done for a while!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None, I've only heard the stories of friends and family that used this website and discovered an easy and affordable way to travel in many countries and meet its people. I created this profile just before going in Europe, that's kinda why I didnt meet or stayed with anybody.
Interests
I am a bit a «jack of all trades» and can't say exactly what is my passion except for traveling itself... there are many hobbies I enjoy doing though: I am a big music fan of all type except for country style...lol. I like to hang out with friends but my social crowd is more of chilling session type than hanging out in bar until closing time. When we hang out I love to get in cultural event such as music show. I like to play guitar, read, listen to movies, do photos, play videogames(that is kind of my little indulgence :P). I like traveling of course (but never done backpack traveling experiences like that before), I like doing outside activities (pedestrian walk, bicycle, skiing, fishing etc.) I love to eat and cook, yoga and meditation are very appealing to me since last year. Finally, I love politics/international news, anthropology, geology and philosophy. that is probably a part of the reasons why I'm so eager to travel!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've made my first roadtrip at 17 years old and I think it was the very moment where traveling became the ultimate achievement for me. I think i'll be stuck with that addiction for the rest of my life... :P
Teach, Learn, Share
With humbleness, I think i can teach people a bit about confidence and personnal power. Also, if I meet beginners in cooking i know a couple of receipes ;) I think i can learn much from the people i'll visit such as their social usages, the cooking, their hobbies, the language and everything new that comes accross while traveling. Finally, I think we will share many things like personnal experiences, history from yourself/your country, the music, the lifestyle, etc.
