About Me
ABOUT ME
21 years old Brazilian guy who's always loved to travel and to discover. A friendly lad who always tries his best to keep it positive. Always willing to do different things, to meet new people and to cook something delish.
PHILOSOPHY
In spite of all bad things out there, I'm too young to see the world as anything but a magnificent place. That counts as a philosophy, I guess.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
From my perspective, Couchsurfing is an amazing way to meet new people, getting in touch with their cultures, habits, and specificities. It's so great that there's no monetary goal 'round here too. I mean, making money is fine, it's necessary after all, but it's also good to sometimes do things for reasons other than your pocket.
Interests
I'm generally into talking about anything, from politics to what happened in the last VMAs (in case you don't know, the shitty - but also fun - MTV video music awards). I'm a really big fan of photography too. Taking pictures (and being involved in the whole process of photography itself) is probably one of my favorite things in life. I'm also a music and food enthusiast & probably the worst guitar player you'll ever see (or listen to).

Music, Movies, and Books
Well, I like quite a lot of music genres, but I admit pop and rock are my top choices. Favorite artists? I'd say The Killers, The Beatles, Amy Winehouse, Ed Sheeran, Sia, Robyn, Tove Lo, The Kooks, Adele and so on.
I love movies even though I don't get to watch them as frequently as I wish I did. I have a soft spot for dramas. My favorite ones are The Silence of the Lambs, Psycho, The Secret of Your Eyes, City of God and Midnight in Paris just to quote a few. I gotta confess I really like children's movies too (I know, shame on me). Wall-E, Up! and Finding Nemo are my favorites in this regard.
Literature is almost an everyday activity for me. I'm always reading and there're no many things that please me more than a good book. It's hard to choose just a few, but I'd say my favorites are One Hundred Years of Solitude, 1984 and Living Water. As any other good 20ish years old, I'm also a huge fan of the Harry Potter saga. I grew up reading JK's books and I think she's a fantastic writer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I left home when I was 14 and crossed my country from side to side to study in a boarding school. Since then I never looked back. I lived in Rio too, if you consider that as an amazing thing - which I do.
