About Me

I'm an equadorian (south america) volunteer staying in Slovakia for 1 year. This is my second experience as an international volunteer, the first time I worked in Iceland for a year as well. As you can probably tell, I'm in love with beautiful nature landscapes, mountains, hiking, and all kind of adventurous situations. Also, I'm totally a big fanboy of the beauty of european cities with a classic vibe (like Prague or Vienna). I'm a talkative guy that likes to crack jokes all the time, and will always try to put a big smile in the people around me. Even though I'm not into partying like crazy, I really like to have fun, dance, and have a good time while making new friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've only used CS before to search for some travelling mates in Iceland, and for hosting people in my city. Now I'm staying 1 year in Slovakia as an international volunteer and I'm really looking forward to travel around the country and the surrounding nations. As a volunteer I don't have too much money, so finding places to stay the night could be hard. But what I lack in money, I exceed in good vibes.

Interests

As a sociology student, expect to hear the occasional rant about politics and some social issues from me. Of course, I don't like people to feel uncomfortable, so I will keep it to myself if i know that it isn't the right time or setting for that kind of conversation. That said, I really enjoy the company of people that like to take deep approaches to stuff, while drinking a couple of beers. I'm really passionate about conversations on philosophy and art. The further away from grounded issues, the better (I leave those for work and travelling is about fun). I also love videogames, even though I haven't played any new release since 2014.
