Hello!

My name is Jorge and I was born and raised in Madrid. A couple of years ago I decided to move abroad because I have always loved knowing different cultures and also wanted to find better job opportunities.

So I moved to Jyväskylä, a small city in Finland where there is a very relevant research centre for the study of experimental nuclear physics (which may not sound very interesting, but it is to me!). After one whole year living and studying there, I realised that having -30ºC and 4h of daylight a day is not as fun as I thought.

That's why I moved to Munich, where I kept pursuing my dream of being a scientific researcher, but this time in the field of quantum optics. This city has been amazing so far, and I can very well see myself living here in the long term!

I love good conversations about any topic. Even about topics I have no idea at all, because I love listening and learning.
