About Me

Hi!

I'm Jorge Sandoval. It's weird for me to write about myself, but I have to say that I have a story to share, it's a big one, and for sure not the greatest you might have heard, but maybe you'd like to hear it. I'm very smiley, sometimes a little extrovert, however, I really enjoy long conversations with people and quiet or calm places. I think I'm talkative. I like to dance, sing and read historic and fiction novels.

I studied engineering because I'm passionate about protecting the environment and helping people through my talents and capabilities. Currently, I'm looking forward to start a career in molecular electronics.

I also enjoy getting to know new people, cultures, languages, and traditions. It's always very exciting to discover what life is like for others, and share how life is for me to others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like the idea of getting to know new people and being able host and be hosted in order to help people, to be helped, and to expand and share our concepts of life, the world and the future. I love this idea of people helping people. And I live in a beautiful country, so people I meet can come to visit :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled all over my country studying the biodiversity and thermodynamic profiles of many different ecosystems, which showed me how incredibly powerful and complex life and nature can be.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really like to help people learn Spanish. Specially the perspective of the language in terms of its story that explains the reason behind its complexity, diversity, and richness of expression.

I'd love to learn French, practice my Portuguese and get started with German.

If you want to have nerdy conversations, I'm perfect for that too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My story, my cooking skills, and any candy I might still have with me. :D
