ABOUT ME

I've always preferred to show my character with deeds rather than words. But here's a story that will say a little bit about me.

To my good fortune my entire life has been an erratic and restless travelling around the world.

The story about my travellings is a bit hectic. So I'll try to put it in a nutshell. I was born in Colombia and lived there most of my childhood and part of my adolescence. I moved to Rome when I was 10 for the following 5 years. From Italy I moved back to Colombia where I finished my secondary school.

After graduating I took an amazing gap year in Oxford. It was then that I decided to move to London, where I worked and studied from 2010 to 2017.

Recent update: I'm currently living in Rome working as a consultant at WFP.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Open to broaden my horizons and find both like-minded people and the most diverse personalities.

Centres d'intérêt

Experience has taught me that travelling is much more than just seeing beautiful places and amazing landscapes. It needs to go beyond for it to be called travelling. It's all about the people! Meeting the most diverse, the most bizarre personalities, from the most remote places (they can also be from around the corner! :)) is my greatest interest.

Beside travelling my interests are quite broad. They range from languages, to reading, playing tennis, playing the violin, scuba diving, and photography.

For the more outgoing people I just want to let them know that I just love having a couple drinks with friends and a good night out!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Climbing mount Sinai in Egypt

Deep diving in the Caribbean coast of Colombia (certified advanced Padi diver!)

Living in Africa (Kenya) for 3 months working with a British NGO that assists VERY rural schools in East Africa. Our motto was 'investing in opportunities for young people'

Living with the local Turkana tribes in a hut in one of the remotest places on earth (a desert in northern Kenya to be precise)

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I think I'm good with languages, and I'd be very keen to learn some basics on even a language I have no idea about.

I'm also very happy to share the ones I know!

For the rest, I'm interested in everything that may sound foreign, different and exotic. So I'm very open to learn pretty much everything, from playing another instrument (I play the violin!), to cooking foreign dishes, watching new movies, playing sports... basically any hobby you may have!

As any good south american, I love dancing salsa. If you're the type of person who enjoys dancing would be glad to teach some salsa steps! (or try to... :))

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

My love for languages (English, Spanish, Italian, French, Swahili). Cooking. Salsa dancing(!). A good conversation over a glass of wine
