About Me

Hey! I’m Jorge — born and raised in Oaxaca, Mexico, a city full of flavor, color, and traditions.
I work remotely as a Virtual Assistant, Event Coordinator, and Project Manager, allowing me to travel and meet people worldwide.
I’m very social, curious, and open-minded. I enjoy good conversations (especially over coffee), learning new perspectives, and building connections wherever I go.
You can find me on Instagram and Facebook, such as @Jorge Fagoaga. Feel free to say hi!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, traveling is not just about places, but about people.
I’m here to meet locals, travelers, and kind souls with whom I can share moments, meals, ideas, and maybe a laugh.
I also want to improve my English and learn more about how others see the world, live, love, eat, and explore.
Couchsurfing feels like a beautiful way to connect beyond borders.

Interests

• Coffee! Always coffee.
• Gym and fitness — training is part of my routine.
• Anime & video games — I’m a big fan of both!
• Technology — I’m a geek at heart.
• Cinema — nothing like a good movie night.
• Food — I’m a foodie and love trying local dishes wherever I go.
• Travel, photography, and meeting new people from different cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

• Music: I listen to a bit of everything — from chill to upbeat, depending on the vibe.
But one thing is clear: I’m a proud Swiftie 💫🎤 (don’t be surprised if I play Taylor Swift on repeat!).
• Movies: I’m a huge sci-fi fan and love everything related to superheroes — Marvel, DC, you name it. Action-packed films, fantasy, and epic storylines are totally my thing.
• Books: I have to be honest — I don’t read much right now, but it’s a goal I’ve set for myself. I’d love to get book recommendations from travelers with unique tastes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Coordinating multiple international events from my house in Oaxaca, while helping teams across different time zones — and still having time for the gym and a good coffee!

Teach, Learn, Share

• I can teach you some Spanish, how to cook a basic Mexican dish, or how to stay organized like a Virtual Assistant 😄
• I’d love to learn more English, hear about your culture, favorite dishes, view on life, or anything you want to share.
• I believe every person we meet has something to teach us — and I’m here to listen, learn, and grow.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share great conversation, good vibes, and a respectful attitude.
I clean up after myself, value your space, and appreciate any chance to learn something new.
I can cook a simple Mexican meal, share local tips about Oaxaca, or help you practice Spanish.
Also… I usually bring a little treat or souvenir from my city (sometimes even mezcal or chocolate!).

Countries I’ve Visited
