My expertise is in having fun! Firstly, some ground rules when it comes to what kind of experience you should have at my place. :

You should always feel safe, respected, empowered, and in general awesome when you stay at my place. I’ve heard weird stories about people putting Couchsurfers to work etc. Well, here you only have on job, that is to feel at home! I’m in my most creative part of my life and feel lucky to be able to live the life I live now with so many amazing projects and things happening. Can’t wait to share that with you as well :)

My story
Originally born in Norway, moved to New York after my company last started doing really well here. That sparked a journey the last year that has taken me through everything from creating events in Singapore to working and playing in over 10 countries. My consultancy company focuses on combating climate change. Working with this, really gives my life meaning and has given me the tools to be more happy and giving than i have ever been.

- Hosted the founder of Couchsurfing
- Hosted a couple, 4 years later I attended their wedding and sang.
- Hosted a couple that was on honeymoon and got all my friends to help out making it something they never forgot.

Examples :
Dinner In The Dark(Literary) where people meet 40 strangers in the dark. This to promote trust and challenging our biases.

New Years Eve, gathering up to 400 people from Couchsurfing bringing food & drinks that they traditionally eat in their own country for New Years Eve.

Foodclub
Gathering Norwegian locals learning how to make new dishes from Couchsurfers from around the world.

My Ukraine Story
In may 2017 at Oslo Freedom Forum i met my business partner Sophia, this would seriously change my life. We found out we had a mutual love for Ukraine. I’m not Ukrainian, but as an entrepreneur I was fascinated by the potential there and the hearts of the people. Little did i know, only days later i would decide to radically change my life.

I called my boss and quit my job two days later and got on a plane to Ukraine, this was in May 2017. Then for the next two months we created a international festival around Co-creation, creativity and technology. It turned out to gather over 2000 young people and sparked a movement of creatives and startups in Ukraine. Now after only being supposed to stay in New York for a month, our company has totally taken off and now I’m sorting stuff to move her permanently

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My goal is to build a global collaborative network of positive, innovative and amazing humans who believes in the power of people. I want to be an ambassador for positivity, meet new amazing people, share stories and learn more about the world. Couchsurfing gives me perspective on life, keeps me grounded and I’m so thankful for it.
I think that the world would be a better place if more people couchsurfed. It simply opens your mind!
