Mosquitos love me, I don't mind gluten, pretty sure I saw UFOs as a kid, learned english by watching Beavis & Butt-head, happy trekking the hell out of a mountain but also sitting in dodgy bars, I like balconies and rooftops a lot, my cat is (was RIP) 19 years old, once burned my hands with pineapple enzymes, I make gin, my biggest trauma was not getting a Nintendo on X-mas, always taste food before adding salt.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Great way to experience the destination you go to in a more everyday-life way. You feel more welcome and blend much better than if you were travelling with a bunch of retired dudes wearing fanny packs and cargo shorts on a tourist bus.

I listen to a lot of genres, namely drone, noise, dream pop, shoegaze, hip hop and classical, but I have to say I was raised by rock, from King Crimson to The Cure to Jane's Addiction to WU LYF.

My favourite composer has to be Arvo Pärt followed by Henryk Górecki.

Books: A Year from Monday, The Inheritors, Silence, Baudrillard's Seduction, The Left Hand of Darkness, Kafka on the shore, The elementary particles, The Necronomicon, The Rite of Spring, The Plague. I like to read about physics, myths, ancient cultures and anthropology.

Films: A lot from the nouvelle vague; Le Mèpris has to be one of my top 5 films. Princess Mononoke, Tangled, Persona, 8 1/2, The Conformist, The Brown Bunny, The Tree of Life, Predator, The Time of The Wolf, Eastern Promises, Nacho Libre, Death Proof, Pride and Prejudice, Mad Max, Terminator I & II, Back to the Future. Currently my favourite films are Stoker and Only Lovers Left Alive.
