CURRENT MISSION

After completing my motorcycle trip from Colombia to Ushuaia with my brother and living in Patagonia two years after getting stuck there during the pandemic, I am now living in Medellin and organizing ideas for the next trip.

ABOUT ME

I am an Industrial Designer, I have been working remotely for 7 years and I am a digital nomad addicted to adventure. I love riding motorcycles and bikes, hiking, and making pizzas at home with friends. I am a sociable person, passionate about art, a thinker, a lover of freedom and adventure. I enjoy cooking, drinking mate (and coffee, too), camping, and playing guitar. I work to live, not live to work. For me, the meaning of life is in balance, catalyzed by the adrenaline of getting to know new places and, above all, meeting new cultures and people.

PHILOSOPHY

I am concerned about the relationship of inequality between nature and human beings and between human beings on the planet across countries and social classes. I love nature and I think about what Gandhi said, about being the change I want to see in the world.

MISIÓN ACTUAL

Después de completar mi viaje en moto desde Colombia a Ushuaia con mi hermano y vivir 2 años en la Patagonia, Arg al quedar atrapado ahí durante la pandemia, ahora estoy viviendo en Medellín y organizando ideas para el próximo viaje.

SOBRE MÍ

Soy Diseñador Industrial, trabajo remotamente desde hace 7 años y soy una nómada digital adicto a la aventura. Me encanta andar en moto y bici, hacer caminatas y hacer pizzas en casa con amigos. Soy una persona sociable, apasionada por el arte, senti-pensante, amante de la libertad y la aventura. Disfruto cocinar, tomar mate (también café, por igual), acampar y tocar guitarra. Trabajo para vivir, no vivo para trabajar. Para mí el sentido de la vida está en el balance, catalizado por la adrenalina de conocer nuevos lugares y sobre todo de conocer nuevas culturas y personas.

FILOSOFÍA

Me preocupa la relación de desigualdad entre la naturaleza y los seres humanos, y entre los seres humanos en el planeta a través de países y clases sociales. Amo la naturaleza y pienso en lo que decía Gandhi, en ser el cambio que quiero ver en el mundo.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted some colleagues in my residence in Bogotá while I was a university student, which meant low budget and austere conditions. In 2013 I made a 3-month trip through South America where I met very kind people, who made my trip a memorable experience.

During 2018 I returned to live alone and had the opportunity to be a Host for other travelers, enjoying their company and sharing very fun moments with surfers from Germany, Denmark, Poland, among others. Back in 2017 I traveled by motorcycle with my ex-partner through part of South America, returning in 2019 from Medellín to Ushuaia (Argentina) with my brother. On both trips I met wonderful people, with whom I still keep in touch and visit them whenever I can.

EXPERIENCIA COUCHSURFING

Albergé a unos compañeros en mi residencia en Bogotá mientras era estudiante universitario, lo que significaba poco presupuesto y condiciones austeras. En 2013 realicé un viaje de 3 meses por Sudamérica donde conocí gente muy amable, que hicieron de mi viaje una experiencia memorable.

Durante 2018 volví a vivir solo y tuve la oportunidad de ser Anfitrion de otros viajeros, disfrutando de su compañía y compartiendo momentos muy divertidos con surfistas de Alemania, Dinamarca, Polonia, entre otros. En 2017 viajé en moto con mi ex pareja por parte de Sudamérica, regresando en 2019 desde Medellín a Ushuaia (Argentina) con mi hermano. En ambos viajes conocí gente maravillosa, con la que aún mantengo contacto y las visito cada vez que puedo.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been camping and traveling, either by sticking my thumb out on the road or in my own vehicle, since at least 2008. During these years I have seen beautiful landscapes and places in Colombia while meeting very kind people along the way. The most adventurous thing I have done so far was pedaling my bike from Colombia to Peru with two friends for 3 months after finishing our university studies.

He estado acampando y viajando, sea sacando el pulgar en la carretera o en mi propio vehículo, desde al menos el 2008. Durante estos años he visto paisajes y lugares hermosos en Colombia al tiempo que he conocido personas muy amables a lo largo del camino. Lo más intrépido que he hecho hasta ahora ha sido pedalear mi bicicleta desde Colombia hasta Perú con dos amigos, durante 3 meses cuando terminamos nuestra carrera universitaria.
