ABOUT ME

I finished my animation studies, and now I'm studying my teacher in arts studies.Now i'm preparing my next journey. I went on a big trip in scandinavia before and had the help of some couchsurfers wich was the best! But there are still a lot of locations in the world that i must have seen. So my next trip is closer to home, it doesn't have to be far to be wonderfull :)
I try to be as open, friendly and honest as possible. I like meeting new people, making long walks in forests. I like hitchhiking very much, though I haven't yet done this a lot. And of course a nice evening night out with some drinks and music.
I'm not an experienced traveler, but I'll have to start somewhere of course. I had my big adventure in Scandinavia, so now it's time for the next chapter. I'm traveling from France, through Switzerland (maybe a little Italy) then further through Austria, then back up via Germany and back home to Belgium.

PHILOSOPHY

Well, my philosophy changes all the time. I could be wrong about something where I was so sure about yesterday. For me it's all a matter of evolution.
I think communication is the key, so I like having long and interesting conversation about life, love, music, art, and everything that can come to mind.
As long we are good for each other, we can only make each other richer.

And for now, I use two sentences in my life:

-Never do to another what you wouldn't like to be done to yourself. (also the other way around: treat other people like you want to be treated yourself)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I still live with my parents, so couchsurfing is difficult for now. But the minute I live alone I open my door to all you friendly couchsurfers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed before in Scandinavia, but it is still very new to me. But I already met some beautifull people, and I've heard a lot of wonderful stories of people couchsurfing. So I want more beautiful story's to remember, and I want to meet more and more lovely people.

Interests

My passions in life are art and music. This can keep me busy all day long. I love drawing with everything that can draw a line. Though painting I find very difficult. And music is my second love. I have played the piano for all my life, and since a few years have started playing the guitar.
I love people and there stories. There is no such thing as right and wrong, so everybody is kinda right in his own way. I like it when a conversation is lifted to the next level, above all the small talk. But in the end all that mathers is friendliness, love and respect :)
Philosophy, love, spirituality, politics, everything that people can be excited about.
And like I said, I love drawing and playing music. I hope to make this in a profession one day.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are too much good movies to write down. A few of my favorites:
-Pulp Fiction (Almost all of Tarantino´s movies)
-Barton Fink, The Big Lebowski (The Coen Brothers are awesome)
-Fight club
-The Dark Knight
-Mr. Nobody
-American beauty
-And many more...

Lately i'm into series:
- The Sopranos
- Breaking Bad
- Walking Death
- ...

And music: I like a lot of kinds of music, as long it's not to easy listening. But i'm really in the blues, thats also the music that i play on piano and guitar.
Also a lot of kinds of Rock, Jazz, swing,... But also in the electronic music there are a lot of very good producers. Instumental Hip Hop, IDM, Downtempo,... I like calm music (no BPM rates that crush your brain to pieces :p)
But i guess the music that i prefer is the music that touches me (very vague, but i wouldn't know how to say it differently)

And the books that I really enjoyed are the books of Charles Bukowski, Paulo Coelho, Alain De Botton, Stephen King and Jack Kerouac. But besides that I red few classics like 1984, Animal Farm and Brave new World. But I Think my favorite book is 'The ass saw the angel' from Nick Cave, that book is just...Wow...
Also the celestine prophey, by James redfield really changed my life.
But I guess I haven't found my favorite genre in books, so I kinda read everything :p

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My trip to Scandinia was really amazing. And this road trip I did last year with some friends, it was one of the best experiences I ever had.
But I think these stories are more fun to hear 'live' ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

Like I said, I play the piano and guitar (also bass guitar) I also play a little didgeridoo.
And I've been drawing aaaall my life.
I started juggling a few years ago.
I like cooking a lot (I make the best omelets in the world)
