ABOUT ME

I am a pretty easy going person. I consider myself to be a bit of an introvert and am somewhat quiet but love meeting new people and am usually up for anything... especially if it is going to be a good time. I want to begin travelling more and seeing as much as I can of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well lets be real travel can be exspensive and I like that couchsurfing can save money allowing people to see more of the world on a tight budget! Much more than that though the reason I am on Couchsurfing is because I believe it is a community of good people and I have had great experinces in the past with Couchsurfing. I think that it is such an amazing platform; allowing you to get a flavour of travel without leaving your country when you are hosting people from diffIerent countries; and allowing you to get to much a more intimate and authentic experience of where you are. I hope that travelling and couchsurfing will help me come out of my shell a little bit more and be more confident in myself. A major goal of mine is to go on a Solo trip and teach or volunteer abroad.

I like playing pretty much all sports/games/activities. I love hiking and camping! Traveling is cool too.

Music, Movies, and Books

It’s so hard to choose!!!

I love pretty much all kinds of music! Old school hip-hop/rap, reggae, and dance music being among the favorite genres

My go to movies are usually comedies (Liar Liar, Superbad, Ace Ventura ect. ect.) or anything disney/pixar ( Lion King, Wall-e, Up, Toy Story, and the list goes on)
Movies everyone should see at some point in life: Fight Club, Shawshank Redemption, Ferris Bueller's Day Off

My favorite book would have to be a fantasy trilogy called the Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss (I'm not big into fantasy books but these ones are seriously SO good). Generally I like to read memoirs (The Glass Castle is a favorite), self-help books also tend to find their way into my library and I like an easy fiction reads as well. Currently a favorite author/speaker of mine is Jordan Peterson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to see the Auzuire window in Belize before it collapsed and I think that is pretty lucky. It was a magnificant sight.
